Wow, last week was a great week for us at the Hollow. After a slow January we’re now seeing a lot of kind faces peering into bunny cages and selecting their perfect “forever friend”. Thanks to everyone who has adopted this past week and to everyone who has ever adopted from us! Don’t forget that you can extend the life of your rabbit simply by providing them a cage friend! Hi All:
It’s been a banner week at the Hollow! This week we adopted out Spot who is being bonded to Scruffy (who was ours), Sparkle/Crystal who is being bonded into a trio with Bunnicula and Frankenbun who used to be our bunnies, Dutch Pumpkin left us to be a friend to another little bunny boy, Chester left us to be bonded to a girl and so did Button who will now have a boyfriend! Pachino and Briar are spoken for and will be leaving on the 27th. And we have two more pending adoptions. Steve and Shaila left for a foster home as did Cinderella, and the black head tilt baby. WOW! What a week!
I’m sorry to say we also lost Mia, one of the little black babies to severe complications of her spay.
We are sorry that Mia had to leave us and cross that rainbow bridge. Unfortunately that’s the bad part about the world of animal rescue, but she had a warm, safe, caring environment for the extent of her life and that’s all you can really ask for.
