Help I Found a Rabbit, What Do I Do??!!

We get a few calls a week from people who have found wild rabbits. While we love anyone who cares enough to call us for help, we hope this webpage will help point you in the right direction. We are a shelter for domesticated rabbits, fully registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit and we are simply not allowed to take in any wild rabbits. We do have some friends that can help though!

If you find wild rabbits in need of help you can call either of the following organizations:

Wildlife in Crisis (located in Weston, CT) - 203-544-9913

Wildlife Orphanage (located in Stamford, CT) - 888-727-ORPHAN

Please consider making a donation to these organizations if they provide help for your situation.

Additionally the House Rabbit Society has a great FAQ for what to do when you find orphaned rabbits. Please check it out here: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/orphan.html
